Become the Cricketer Who Performs When It Matters Most

Cricket success is about more than talent, technique, and training. This live presentation gives cricketers and parents a clear framework for the areas that actually determine long-term development, consistency, and performance under pressure.

What You'll Walk Away With

In this practical, story-driven session, you'll discover how to:

  • Build the mindset to handle pressure, failure, selection, and expectation
  • Understand the habits and behaviours that separate committed cricketers from the rest
  • Develop clarity around what it actually takes to improve and perform consistently
  • Support a young cricketer's journey without adding pressure
  • Identify what's holding a player back — mentally, emotionally, technically, tactically, physically, and environmentally
  • Create a realistic pathway for long-term development, on and off the field

Who This Is For

Cricketers serious about improvement. Parents who want to support with clarity rather than pressure. Coaches, mentors, and anyone who performs under pressure and wants to get more out of themselves.

About Tom Scollay

Tom Scollay is the founder of Cricket Mentoring and a former professional cricketer who played for Middlesex County Cricket Club. After experiencing the highs and brutal realities of the professional game firsthand, he built Cricket Mentoring around one belief: that technique alone never made anyone.

Over the past decade, Tom has mentored thousands of cricketers across Australia, the UK, India, New Zealand, and beyond — from club juniors to international professionals. His Six Pillars of Success framework has become the foundation of how Cricket Mentoring develops more complete, confident, and resilient players.

This presentation draws on Tom's playing career, years of one-on-one mentoring, and the hard-won lessons from working with cricketers at every level of the game.

What Players Say

"Tom has had a huge impact on my game and my mindset. His ability to understand players, ask the right questions, and help you see the game differently is what makes him such a valuable mentor." Jake Weatherald — Australian Test Cricketer
